We are not sure that this guy even needs any photos....he is plastered all over this site, because he is just sooooo beautiful. His registered name is Made Out Lika' Bandit, but we call him El Bandedo here at the farm. He is such a cool guy. He is 4 years old and sired by the infamous Alens Belfast Bandit!!! Check out Alens Belfast Bandit at Golden Gaits Farm. El Bandedo is a buckskin tobiano Spotted Saddle horse. He is colored up just like his Daddy....and his color changes with the seasons just like his Daddy's does! In the winter months he is a sooty buckskin and he sheds out to a deep yellow buckskin in the summer. El Bandedo's dam was a jet black racking horse mare. We never had the oppertunity to meet her, but we hear she was a very sweet smooth riding girl. We purchased El Bandedo as an unbroke 4 year old the first of the year and he has progressed to an awesome riding horse so very quickly! We have trail ridden him all over our farm as well as hauled him to the mountains and he is always such a star. We are working towards showing him in the 3 gaited classes at the NWHA shows. The NWHA is the National Walking Horse Assoc., a group dedicated to all sound and natural Walking horse showing. El Bandedo's flat walk is ohhh soooo flashy! He has this quick snappy head shake and tons of action up front...keg shod! His running walk is really nice, but he is on the square side, so it can become a bit racky...he is at that stage in his training where he could be encouraged to rack or running walk, he could do either, or both! We are also working on the canter...which is going to be just amazing! He has such natural lift and balance it just amazes me! So, we are quickly approaching that 3 gaited flat shod class.....watch out here we come!!!! We do plan to place El Bandedo in a new home......... Only because we would like to purchase a TWH mare to breed! We wish we could find one exactly like "Made Out Lika' Bandit"...but a mare.... We plan to be very picky about where this guy goes....he is just so special...we want him to be placed with someone who matches him just perfect! He will be an awesome 3 gait Spotted Saddle Horse for the NWHA shows... of course a sound, flat shod home is a must! He would also love to trail ride lots and lots. The perfect home would show flat shod and trail ride and LOVE to LOVE on this guy!!! He just Loves it.....he eats up the attention! As I said, we are really in no hurry to place him, but he is available to just the right person.
